PT Pasifik Satelit Nusantara (PSN) is the first private satellite telecommunications company in Indonesia and a leading Asian provider of a full range of satellite-based telecommunication services, including both fixed and mobile telephony services.

To this end, PSN has developed a business strategy as follows; (i) focus on the Asia-Pacific region, (ii) use satellites to provide innovative communications solutions, (iii) build a customer base by marketing its products and services directly to end users, (iv) capitalized on this base by developing and cross-marketing a broad range of telecommunications and multimedia services, and (v) build upon its relationships with strategic partners, including shareholders and co-investors.

   The oldest satellite operator in the world that provides telecommunications and broadcast distribution services throughout North America.

PSN is focused on becoming a fully integrated provider of satellite-based telecommunication products and services in Asia, including the wholesale leasing of satellite capacity and six services to be offered to end users.

  As an international service earning dollar revenues, transponder leasing emerged as a strategic revenue stream for the company amidst the crisis environment.

  A WAN-based extension of Xpress ConnectionTM providing voice, data, fax and Internet access designed for the corporate market.
• BYRU
  A GSM Satellite service based on the ACeS (ASIA Cellular Satellite) network. The ACeS network is a GSM network using the Garuda-1 satellite technology giving Asia-wide coverage.
• PASTI
  A fixed application of satellite-based mobile telecommunication, using ACeS system and Garuda 1 satellite.
• BINA
  A broadband Internet connection service utilizing 2-way VSAT IP-DVB satellite technology.

There is great potential for growth in the Asian telecommunication and broadcast markets, which will fuel demand for telecommunication infrastructure. The prospects are particularly attractive for satellite infrastructure, given the large geographic region with many islands and the prevalence of underdeveloped basic terrestrial telephone networks.
