Your BYRU
Card The BYRU (read be ru) Card is a SIM (Subscriber Identity Module)
card that allows you to make and receive telephone calls via both
the ACeS satellite network and our GSM roaming partner networks.
The BYRU Card also holds your subscriber identity number and PIN
(Personal Identification Number). What's more, the card's memory
can store up to 250 names and telephone numbers.
Customer Choice
The BYRU Card offers two types of service: prepaid and postpaid.
Prepaid cards allow you to control the number of pulses you use.
Postpaid cards, on the other hand, give you access to the entire
range of facilities available from BYRU. Prepaid card can not be
used to roam to other GSM network.

PIN and PUK
A PIN (Personal Identification Number) is a secret number known
only by cardholder to prevent unauthorized use of your card. For
the BYRU Card, the preset PIN is 0868, but we recommend that you
change this immediately to another secret code you can easily memorize.
For directions on changing your PIN, please see your cellular phone
User's Guide.
| (!) |
If you key in the wrong PIN three times in a row,
your BYRU Card will be automatically blocked. If this happens,
use your PUK (PIN Unblocking Key) to reactivate it. |
|
Your PUK is included in your BYRU Card Premier Package. For directions
on using your PUK, please see your cellular phone User's Guide.
| (!) |
If you key in the wrong PUK three times in a
row, your BYRU Card will be disabled and it could not be reactivated.
